KITCHEN EXTENSION – LUTTERWORTH
The client was looking to provide a very large open plan family kitchen to a new estate house in Lutterworth. We opened up the whole of the back of the original house and extended it the full width by 4m deep under Permitted Development. The extension had a flat roof so that large roof lanterns could be used and the rear wall had large bi-fold doors. The new room provides the family with a fantastic multi functional space that is filled with light.
HOUSE EXTENSION – NEWTON HARCOURT
My client had purchased a small cottage in the village of Newton Harcourt that was in a bad way, it had been extended in the 70’s with a large flat roof extension. We secured Planning Permission to remove the flat roof extension, provide single storey extensions to the front and rear and a two storey extension to the side. With the clients attention to detail and good choices of materials, the completed cottage looks beautiful and provides the extra space they required.
BARN CONVERSION – ASHBY MAGNA
We worked closely with the client to turn this tumbling down barn into a modern contemporary home. With large barn door openings to the front and rear, light floods into the property. The house has a light and airy open plan feel to the ground floor with 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms to the first floor.
BESPOKE ONE OFF HOUSE – SCRAPTOFT
On this project we worked with a local developer who had purchased an awkward corner site in the centre of Scraptoft surrounded by trees. We designed a large 4 bedroom detached house with a double garage that works beautifully with the trees and the site constraints and it sold off plan.
RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT – STRAWBERRY GARDENS ENDERBY
We were involved at a very early stage with this site advising the developer prior to purchase on the potential of the site. With the assistance of other specialist consultants, working as a team, Planning was approved for 3 new houses. A storey is told with this development of a hansom farm house flanked on either side by converted barns. The development provide a 3 bedroom house and two 5 bedroom houses all of which were quickly sold.
